On This Day ,A Boy Scout Fell To His Death. We Learned Of It The Next Day And Had Passed The Group A Hour Earlier From This Photo. ( Ray, Sam , Deems And Jack Russell Terrier " Kelly" Traverse Trail Carved Out Of an Old " Lava Tube" with makes up much of the trail.. Hats off the the folks who built this trail in the 30's. Today , it hard to find a paid park employee to change out the toilet paper roll in the rest rooms at trailhead.......
