PCT 2000 , First Time Back In 23 Years ( Lake Morena In Background )

Lake Morena, Calif. PCT

In 1977 , the trail or route as it was , was located east of this lake and small village. It was amazing to see how many people were out hiking the trail. ( Which wasn't really completed till 1992. In fact in 77', of the 1650 miles of Cal. trail, only 950 was complete. Much nicer hiking today with all the light gear , tennis shoes, poles etc.
