This shot of our dog, Newt, was taken inside with no flash, only the incandescent lamps and the indirect sunlight through the window. Since the dog is wheaten and the carpet very light sand color, using Elements, I removed the little color in the photo; then cropped, resized and sharpen. I then applied the smart blur filter which I thought gave it a nice portrait effect.
