The building was built in 1912 - by Charlie Clark, to be his auto garage. It was one of the first dealerships in the state. In 2002, the property was purchased by New American Boulevard LLC, and rehabbed as a historic building, to accommodate new mixed-retail shops and a market hall.

Notice the state of the trusses. They are covered with a thick layer of silver paint and soot.
