After last year's roadtrip from Vancouver to Calgary, I just had to return this year and revisit some of the more beautiful spots with a little more time on my hands. I basically did a little Rockies roundtrip: Calgary, Banff, Saskatchewan Crossing, Jasper, Clearwater, Revelstoke, Banff, Calgary.

For the photographers:
This year I made some substantial changes when taking most of the landscape pictures:
1. I usually shot from a tripod with longer shutter speeds and aperture for more depth of field.
2. I got into using 2 and 3-stops graduated neutral density filters to be able to deal with the differences in contrast between sky and landscape in high contrast weather conditions.
