The second good reason to always carry some tape in your camera bag (the first is here.)

Mistake #1: You take only one pair of shoes on a trip.
Mistake #2. You get too close to the water's edge and you get a surprise.
The motel hair dryer could help the situation, but you'd have to stand there for hours,
holding the trigger switch to keep it running.

Solution: Tape.
