The long, steep hike up from Phantom Ranch is brutal but worth the effort, it's a beautiful view looking up to the rim from the rivers edge.

I remember seeing warning signs about taking at least a gallon of water if you are hiking down plus a memorial for a gal that did not and died.Good shot Earl.
