Day 1 - Llangollen, Pontycysyllte Aquaduct

Our first stop after leaving home was Llangollen and the Pontycysyllte Aquaduct.

This has to seen to be believed and the walk across for me was quite frightening even though there is a handrail all the way along the pedestrian side which I clung to for dear life. There's no such luxury on the canal side where they look 120 feet straight down with no safety measures.
