One of my favorite parts of the holidays is driving around to see the displays that various homeowners put up to celebrate. This house always has a lovely set of lights, and this shot doesn't do it justice, though I do like how the house seems to disappear, leaving these beautiful lights just showing against the black.

These folks are almost always working on their display the day after Thanksgiving, and leave it up past New Years, so that it gets a nice, long run of it.

Unfortunately, I'm still learning to use the night shot setting on my camera, so it's a little fuzzy. I'm just going to have to use a tripod, I guess, as my hand isn't steady enough even when resting on something.
