I wear this necklace nearly every day. It's as much a part of me as my face or my hands. The pentacle represents the five Elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Spirit) and the tree is the Tree of Life, which represents the circular nature of life (and death) and how everything is tied together. Rain falls from the sky to nourish us, it soaks into the ground, giving life, and that life breathes, giving off moisture which evaporates into the sky only to return again. This sort of cycle can be seen in nearly everything around us, not just rain. It is part of who and what we are, and what the world around us is. It's when we ignore that cycle and that interconnectedness that we have problems.
