Wildflowers and Gravestones

Galveston Historic Cemetery District, Texas

The cemeteries have suffered through many hurricanes and been raised two or three times in areas, after flooding from storms.
The last time this area was raised, the Willis mausoleum was not (probably due to cost or structural reasons)
