Cruise Terminal at 23rd

Galveston Island, Texas

Taken through the windshield as we drove down 23rd Street in Galveston's Strand district.
The cruise terminal is at the end of the street and the cruise ship Vista is berthed there. She will leave Galveston on July 3rd
for the first time since Covid 19 hit Texas last year. Still, there are restrictions about vaccines and I believe the ship is only allowed 1/3 capacity.
I like the REFLECTION on my hood. For the June Scavenger Hunt.

Nice perspective. I like how the cruise ship towers over the buildings. "V"

I'm more curious about the German flags on the Dang Good Food building. Aside from Wiener schnitzel and Black Forest Cake (not together, obviously), I'm having a hard time reconciling the two.

The size of those ships, to me, is almost unbelievable.

Amazing how gigantic it is, and good to have the buildings for scale. Super reflection, too. V.

the nautical monstrosity makes an unusual end-of-the-block sight...yes, that snippet of your hood adds a lively touch in the forground..

Great reflections in your car. The ship looks like a skyscraper. Love the composition. V
