Sign of Civilization - The Starlight Theatre

Terlingua, Texas

A good restaurant and great music, but it was closed (covid lockdown) while we were town this time.

"Starlight Theatre serves a great mix of Texas and Mexican cuisine with full bar and frequent live entertainment.
he Starlight is the center of the local community around Terlingua. If there is no live music inside, the adjacent Terlingua porch
almost always has a group of pickers and players doing their thing and enjoying the great view of the Chisos Mountains"

Great picture of this place. I would love to go there based on your description. I'm glad you included this car, whatever it is, in the composition. ~BV~

The old broken down car gives this a derelict and, despite the lovely blue sky, a rather sad feel...top composition though Lynn

A fine composition, Lynn, and the early model SUV in front is a great addition.

Looks like a fun place to eat, and a great composition with the car in view. I bet you could dine there now. V.

a touch of rustic charm so loners can get together...with bar service on offer, it's reassuring to note that taxi is standing by...solid comp here Lynn..

Nice with that car in front. Too bad it was closed when you visited. "V"

Interesting that many of these old, small, towns used to have theatres. We encountered a place like this near Death Valley, close to the border of CA and NV.
