My Backyard, Sugar Land Texas

Our Sago Palm has new fronds FINALLY.
We had a freak freeze and snow last Winter and the fronds were now brown and dead. Tom trimmed them away about 6 weeks ago.
The fluffy nest below is actually the Sago female flower.
Our skies are white from a huge cloud of African dust. This happens every Summer. It crosses straight across the Atlantic and into our Gulf.
This dust cloud wreaks havok with our Weather.
