My Back Yard in Sugar Land, Texas

Happy New Year to all!
Both of our Confederate Rose trees are bare, except for this little shoot coming from the trunk of the tree closest to the north fence.
I guess it is protected from the cold wind here, and decided to celebrate New Years with a big bloom. :)
