Puff the magic ........

Down the south coast on a back road we saw a childs delapidated stuffed toy up in the fork of a tree. It certainly looked strange and funny. But as we went down the road every 100 meters for a kilometer or so there was another one. They looked very forlorn and a bit disquietening. I can hope that they had reached the Puff stage and had just been outgrown.

This makes me feel very sad. So much can be invested by a child in his/her stuffed toy. the passing and abandonment of innocence is a sad, sad thing. This picture has moved me a great deal. Interesting story. V

Lovely clarity. Yes, disquieting is an excellent description. Maybe its a comment on our
throw-away society when children's toys are publicly adandoned.
This cute little pink heffalump deserved better than wind, sun and rain.
(I still have my biggest doll and my brother's teddy bear - somewhere!)
