I came across this little snippet in today's Scotsman, which I reproduce here without comment (other than note the irony).
"Seven months of arbitration between Jewish and Arab groups over the building of a museum promoting religious tolerance on the site of an old Muslim cemetery in Jerusalem have failed, officials said yesterday. The Los Angeles based Simon Wiesenthal Center, which is funded largely by American Jews, said it would now petition Israel's Supreme Court to begin construction of the Museum of Tolerance on the site in the centre of Jerusalem. Two Arab groups are adamant that the $200 million (£107 million) museum should not be built on the site of a Muslim cemetery."
