The first ever Flickr/Pbase meetup on the Isle of Bute--the Jewel of the Clyde; the Pride of the Clyde; the Scottish Riviera; Dooniwaatur--call it what you may. We came, we saw, but the cygnets in the castle moat wouldn't play ball. Here the visiting and resident photographers try to will the young swans to leave the water and join their parents on the grass. Like most young adults, however, the cygnets stayed resolutely in the water--much to the relief of their parents!
