So anyway, while the picture may not be up to much, it does at least have the double merit of having actually been taken today (a bit of a novelty there, then), and being a fair and accurate representation of the things that I have spent the day in front of... my little laptop and my trusty Dicionário Português-Inglês, that I bought second-hand for 2,500 escudos (about £10) in February 1996 from the Livraria Trinidade on Lisbon's Rua da Trinidade - this little book has helped me earn thousands of pounds during the intervening years, and probably paid for my camera. So, for that alone, it deserves to be featured here.
