Disagreement amongst friends

3 August 2004

105.
Liam had a doctor's appointment this morning, so we were up and out the house early. After he had seen the doctor, we headed into town and bought a pile of DVDs and some more maps. Before heading home, we went to visit the McManus Galleries, which hosts a social history museum, natural history museum and art gallery - and it's all free. I did take some photos inside the gallery, but I had to sign a piece of paper stating that I would not use flash and that I wouldn't publish them. Since I couldn't use flash, and I didn't have my tripod with me, none of the photos I took are worth publishing anyway! Once home, I hung out the washing and made lunch, then we settled down to watch our DVDs. No sooner had we got comfortable than it started to rain, so I had to go out and bring the washing in again and put it in the tumble-dryer. Is it ever thus!
