I have been reminiscing today.
Thinking back to when we could travel without any red tape.
Before Covid and travel bans, PCR tests, self-isolation and social distancing.
Before Brexit and visas, questions at customs, proving you have enough money and a return ticket.
I have not been out of Scotland since the UK left the EU and I lost my European citizenship (thanks to the English).
I have not been to Portugal in almost 2 years - I used to go there at least 7 or 8 times a year.
This is the Castelo dos Mouros, taken on my last trip to Portugal in December 2019.
I don't know when, or even if, I will ever be back.
Last year:
