Another icy bench for the penultimate day of the year.
I made my way down to Trottick Ponds and was greeted by ducks and swans making the most of the frozen water.
They seemed to manage better than me as I negotiated the icy footpath.
I nearly went over on my heels a couple of times.
But I have the reactions of a cat and managed to steady myself before I hit the ground.
Either that or I flailed around like a human windmill until I managed to grab something to stop me from falling.
