Thanks everyone. Bob B. I agree they are hard to reproduce accurately. The green is close enough but the red in real life was much darker. This was as close as I could get it. Cindy. Nope had this lens for a year or more. Love it. Very slow to focus but I love it's 1:1 reproduction, light weight and less expensive than the other macros.

Excellent shot. Use the dof well here! My experience has been that it is hard to capture, reproduce the true color of many flowers in the blue - violet range.
