The Price of Freedom

Yeah I know war is not really a holiday topic.

But we should remember why we have peace at our dinner table during the holidays on our homeland and we should remember who had to pay the price for us to have that peace.

Today me and Abby got up at 4am and drove from Roanoke, VA to Washington D.C. to spend the day going to the museums at the National Mall. This image was taken at the Museum of American History.

The solider with the old canon is a life size statue seen thru a transparent cloth of the flag and the more modern soilders.

I have some outtakes of some art I saw. http://www.pbase.com/lundy/image/54315465

And one of Abby just before her prostate exam by George Washington. http://www.pbase.com/lundy/image/54315472
