Knoxville Sunsphere

Nothing too amazing tonight, something that has been done before.

This is Knoxiville's Sunsphere. This landmark was created for the 1972 (I think) World's Fair. If you watch Fox's Simpsons cartoon, then you have seen this landmark.

So what is different about this shot, that nearly everyone in Knoxville has a photo of? Well if you stand under it at a certain distance, at a certain time of year, during sunset the angle of the glass will send a super saturated golden reflection right down to where you are standing.

Thats where those two or three pieces of glass are glowing a very warm sunset orange.

Oh hey no charge for including that jet that is flying to the upper left corner of the image.

Enjoy.
