I would guess the 1950s. The large house beneath the pencil cross on the postcard was
Bridgestone house also the post office stores and tearooms. I was born in this house
1n 1943 and left in approx 1956/7. I can remember island tour coaches turning beyond the right of the picture. I last visited around 2007 (?) with my grandchildren when Bridgestone
house had been demolished although the garden had not yet disappeared. I can remember most of the residents until about 1967 when I left the island. The house behind the trees on the right of the picture was burnt to the ground in the 1950s but rebuilt the last owner being Hugh Scanlon the then well known Union leader.

Hello, anyone know roughly what sort of year this picture was taken? Can I assume that these lovely old houses have long gone, probably over the cliffs?
Who would be the authority on all things Warden? Thank you.
