These pictures bring back so many happy memories of childhood holidays. I also remember before the promenade was built, the beach had huge boulders on it, and we used to sit on them, there was also a waste water pipe emptying directly onto the beach, and when we went in the sea, our costumes usually came out a different colour!! I still go for regular visits to Leysdown, but where have all the trees gone? Carol and Margaret.
