Yes I remember the frozen estuary and the coaster washed up on the beach near the seaveiw hotel .Harry the barber had a lot of photos in his shop in Richmond street some of the jetty with the railings covered in ice,Taffy Mc Grath

Yes, I remember this, the year the sea froze. I think a small coaster was also blown up onto the prom that winter. I have a photo of it back home somewhere.
