Of the handlers scheduled to run dogs Saturday afternoon, the top five scores went to Geri Byrne, Nancy Stephens, Nicky Riehl, Elizabeth Baker and Bob Stephens. (Haley Howard and Albion Urdank, among a few others, were scheduled to run Sunday morning but took advantage of the daylight to run their dogs late in the afternoon on Saturday.)

Suzy Applegate and Hap won the first Open trial at Zamora this year. Haley Howard won the second Open trial with Ross, Nursery Champion at the 2006 Nationals.
