Soo Locks

Threading the needle at the Locks at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
The ore ship Burns Harbor coming into the locks is 1000 ft long and
105 feet wide.
The lock is 1200 ft long, probably not a big deal to stop in time.
But the lock is only 110 feet wide. So you get 2 1/2 feet minus
the coat of paint for clearance on each side.
