sculpture ~ January 29th

This is a different view of the same sculpture I showed on January 3rd. I find the materials and shape of this art piece very interesting. It's in front of the science library at Brown University. I had trouble posting this image yesterday. I had limited time to work on the computer and PBase was undergoing internal changes. I'm glad all seems to be up and running today.

Like your perspective for this photo Lori.

It's always hard to photograph someone else's work of art and make it your own, but you clearly did so here and even added something to the sculpture that we wouldn't have seen had we actually been there. Impressive.

I've just watched a doco on Michelangelo's David...I'm having trouble looking this one now, Lori :>)
However, shapes B&W, & crop are all very interesting, they're just not marble...LOL !!

WoW! Beautiful contrasts between the sculpture and the building and trees behind!
Looks like a giant number 3.

I like the curves against the lines of the structure behind it.

Really neat abstract! Works well in B&W, too.
