Lynda - you have a wonderful image rich in texure and pattern, spiraling itself within his tight and yes, tack sharp, image. The background fade is just perfect. You really know how to deal with that very difficult color green!

It's called Circium horridulum and is a common roadside weed. Grows to 5 feet high. The purple flower hasn't quite opened all the way, but it will very soon. We have it in Florida too.
