Very nice capture .... I like the lovely sensual lines the foam creates.
Lori Rolfe06-Nov-2004 15:20
love the comp.... it looks like an arrow of foam pointing to the bottom right corner.... nice lines

Refreshing, clean water. Nice.

Cool idea for a shot. Ya done good.
Guest 05-Nov-2004 05:34
Nice texture. Lovely shot. It looks like the foam is clearing up, is it right?
Cindy05-Nov-2004 04:37
What a beautiful natural abstract.
Guest 05-Nov-2004 04:32
another fantastic shot Larry!
Guest 05-Nov-2004 02:29
Really neat! By leaving the crop wider like this, we see the river, too. Otherwise, the foam is just an abstract. Good shot.
Guest 05-Nov-2004 02:18
beautiful...your nature shots always remind me to keep my eyes open. Thanks!

Great patterns in here, almost looks like a satellite picture. (Also thank you for the lovely comment on my shot today.)
Guest 05-Nov-2004 00:07
Almost abstract in its nature
Guest 04-Nov-2004 23:11
I'm so glad its just river foam!!
Guest 04-Nov-2004 22:06
very nice capture. the water is beautiful.

Fascinating - I tried using the 'magic eye' technique to view this and the effect is even more amazing - water skier being towed away to top left...perhaps it's just me!! CH

Nice image, Larry. I like the swirls and leaves. It looks like Mother Nature's attempt at a paisley pattern. ...did I spell that right?

Fascinating colors and texture Larry.

Excellent capture!
Leo Charette04-Nov-2004 14:26
Nice post-processing, I like the added contrast. Creates a very good abstract.
Karen Stuebing04-Nov-2004 13:59
I like the motion on this. Very different from a lot of water shots. It gives a sense of fall going out with the tide. Hope your next shot isn't a frozen body of water. :)
Guest 04-Nov-2004 13:45
Nice. Wasn't sure just what it was from the thumbnail, seemed like a boat going through water. But in checking it out, was surprised. How did you notice this? Very nice.
Gayle P. Clement04-Nov-2004 13:39
Very interesting, Larry. It looks as though the last signs of autumn are washing out to the sea.
katwilkens04-Nov-2004 13:38
Pretty and interesting

I always look for pictures in the clouds....I think I could do the same for "river foam". This is beautifully composed, Larry.
