a Much happier driver
Once we were able to spend several hours using this rig the way it was meant to be used . . . traveling at 30mph (or less), on less than perfect dirt tracks . . . life was good again.
Yesterday's decision to get rid of the "Beast" . . . it just seemed like a bad dream.

Death Valley
We were now on the main north-south road in the valley.
It was time to do another self fueling. This time we had a mix of diesel and unleaded. When we were at the Black Rock we found out about some 80gals of fueling station "oops". The fuel had been drained into a couple of 55gal drums. We were given the ok to take it. We had pumped some into the tank on the "She Beast", the rest went into one of the trailer's storage tanks. Now it was time to use that "extra" fuel.
While we were fueling, off the side of the road, a mildly abused PT Cruser rolled by (tourist rental?)
