Wind River Range of Wyoming

One of my favorite wilderness areas to explore. My adventures here so far date to 1980, 1997, and 2002. I can't wait till I return to the Winds!

Your photographs are truly gorgeous works of art and prove that the old saying "America The Beautiful" is well founded. These pictures make me wish I had spent more time in Wyoming in the "Winds", instead of hurrying on to the Yellowstone and the Tetons. What I don't understand is why our nation hasn't made the Wind River Range a national park. Oh, well, at least they're protected to some extent. I hope they remain as wild and beautiful in the future as they are now.
