Grizzly Lake and Thompson Peak

Trinity Alps Wilderness

Thompson Peak is the highest peak in the Trinties at 8996ft. The easy climber's route from Griz Lake takes off from the ridge near shore with a long arc heading towards the low gap on this ridgeline. Then follow the ridge, along the easiest route to the summit.

Great image for trip planning...was curious about route to summit until I saw this pic with the obvious gully on the right leading up to ridge. Thanks.
