This trail to the Siskon mine was never finished in the late 1800s. It is a great winter hike in the Klamath Mtns. I walked in cougar, bear, deer and bobcat tracks today. This was Kelly's first big snow hike. I carried my vintage Dana Design Bridger pack. The Dillon drainage burned in 2008, and you can see the brown leaves, black trunk on the tree behind me.
