canon ef 135mm f 2 L vs ef 135mm f2.8 SF

this gallery is dedicated to the lens that has become my favorite.
The first 3 photos are a side by side comparison between the L lens and the cheaper 135/ 2.8 softfocus that I used the last year. Images are 100% crops, untouched. My conclusion is that, if you have the money, buy the L lens.
The following photos are photos taken with the L lens, no post processing of any kind, just resized.
I was impressed by the splendid colors and contrast, along with great bluring of the background.

Wow, what an amazing demonstration of what this lens is capable of. The power pole pics alone were enough to convince me to buy this lens and stop letting my DSLR go to waste! Thanks!

L means Luxury..... So only for those who really really can afford it.... They are also made of magnesium case, so it can take bumps and drops of professional's life.

Great shots! I'm still using the Canon FD 135 2.0 and scanning the results. Your pics reminded me of my own 135,it really is great for portraits. I'm not on Pbase but I do have some work on the web from my FD 135. Regards, Peter.
