The departure was scheduled at 11 AM. After checking that all things were in complete order abord the Playmate witht the North South main office crew got a last minute main freezer air conditioning compressor failure which took hours to identify, change and test, finally departing from Road Town Harbour at 1 PM, after 3/4 hour slow cruise finally reached US St. John Island. Found a nice mooring buoy in Cruz Bay (17-20) which is the center of activity on St. John, then went to visit the bay beach surroundings, our first V.I.destination stop point.
