A typical winters morning - Milton is only 14 feet above sea level and was built on a swamp - heavy ground fogs are normal. For the last two and a half years I have been using a Landrover and generator set up to persue my hobby of Astro-photography - spending the nights freezing my butt off standing in Farmers paddocks at various locations or trying to catch some sleep huddled in a hay barn somewhere - temperatures down to -10 C are not uncommon here in winter time. I was getting TOO OLD and TOO COLD - Fortunately a Local Farmer recognised my insanity and felt sorry for me - and offered me the chance to build an observatory on a piece of his land. For this act of kindness I will be forever grateful.
