These pictures were shot as the sun set behind me in the west, and the moon had just risen in the east. The blue and magenta colors are pretty accurate, but I did desaturate the foreground slightly to increase the emphasis in the sky.

As an aside, do you see the dog sitting at the horizon on the left side of the photo? He is partially masked by a tree behind him, but still visible if you look closely.
