Lisbeth, this image is so emotional!
what touches me very deeply is the little detail of her name in the handkerchief. without it, this one can be a common photograph of some old hands. with it, the meaning and what is behind the image changes completly. it speaks to me of a woman -Klara L.- that is in a hospital or a retired house (or some kind of institution), the grey clothes also show that maybe all the colours (and happiness) of the life are gone with the years... but, also, those hands hold not only the handkerchief (and in a way her humanity and identity) but also the cane that helps her to walk and to be alive; and we can find the colour in her hands, in her body.. not in the outside, but in her inside.
