It is refreshing to see you use abstraction to create meaning, Lisbeth. The black frame of the window, the black earth, the black car, the smeary windshield, and the deep gray clouds all take away detail. Suddenly the red tail lights and small patch of blue sky on the horizon contrast to that abstraction and become all the stronger for it. The start of the day, indeed! (I hope somebody else was doing the driving.)
