Thanks for the visit and for your advice regarding other photo ops in and around Les Paccots - will certainly put on my snowshoes this winter and see what I caome across! C-S.

I have been going to Les Paccots for 25 years. There are so many interesting things to take photos of in the region. Has the photographer been to the waterfall beyond Les Paccots, towards Rathvel? Follow the road from Les Paccots as if continuing to Rathvel. Before the turning up to Rathvel the road crosses a bridge over a gorge (pont de la cascade, pont du cascade, sorry, can't remember!). Walk down the old logging road to the right immediately before the bridge. Follow upstream (there is no path, but it is possible to pick your way along the left hand edge of the stream). After about 10-15 minutes upstream there is the waterfall. It is very beautiful and photogenic.
