..small by comparison with its neighbours, but rich in biological diversity, and a country which many of us have dreamed of visiting! We had ambitions of an Ecuadorean holiday for quite a while, drawn by Darwin and his theory and the Galapagos Islands...also the country's volcanoes, the people and their music...their culture...and their "claim to fame" with a precise location of the equatorial line just outside of their capital...and Panama hats are made here..!!
