The wife and I were invited to do some active holidaying instead of 'just cruising' by a friend who felt that we needed the exercise....so we followed a programme which took in trekking (more than we expected) on a few islands in the Greek group of islands called the Cyclades! With an early flight at the crack of dawn, we arrived at Mykonos, from where we transited to Milos, followed by Kimolos, on to Seriphos, Syphnos and finally Paros before getting back Mykonos to take the return flight home....a fantastic holiday of three weeks, with loads of sun, great scenery and awesome views, good food, laughter...and of course...lots of huffing and puffing taking on numerous treks but the rewards were knowing that we could still do the treks...and the bonus were the gorgeous profusion of wild flowers as well as the grand vistas, panoramas and the various blues of the Aegean bays...! A holiday we could recommend without reservation...! ;0)
