I can't describe in words how happy I was when I finally downloaded this shot and started looking at it in more detail. I left the front door open one day while taking pictures of the roses, and Mia decided to flop down in the sunshine... this was taken with my (then brand-new) canon 100-400L from about 12 feet away. Her expression, the curling whiskers and the reflection off the floor combined perfectly. I didn't even notice the reflection until I looked at the picture, but after about 6,000 pictures and a number of them that I think are really good this one is still my favorite.
