Great ideas for an extended essay/celebration of athletes. Nothing is as beautiful as a strong, fit, confident woman. Get a bunch of these creatures together on one team and you are looking at great power. I've been working on similar things with high school soccer, partly as a way of encouraging my daughter's soccer career. But I like the love these players display for the game, even though it's not really in the conciousness of the average American sports fan.

I would try to get tighter images of these events. The main point is the almost dance-like gymnastics the player's can get themselves into. It's all about the body(ies), faces, and the disk. The backgrounds don't help the images. Either longer glass or f2.8 and faster would probably help on all fronts.
