Black smoke from a burning semi could be seen from the bridge on SE University Ave between SE 13th Ave and 14th Ave. There was no smoke when I was at the scene the first five minutes. Therefore, any person who claimed that they felt the shake, and then saw the smoke (as many did on TV interviews) are either seeing things I don't see, or making things up.
