Apartments at 95 Burnett Avenue South


“95 Burnett” is an apartment building on the edge of downtown in Renton. It opened in June 2007 as part of an effort to rejuvenate the downtown core. 95 Burnett is located at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.

The site used to be occupied by the Lande Feed Company, a fixture in Renton for decades. When the building was torn down in the summer of 2002, store manager Craig Lande moved the operation to Maple Valley. That store closed around 2008.

95 Burnett has special meaning for me.

Steve, this is not just any old town---this is Renton, Washington ("Ahead of the Curve"). Here we call the things "vehicular right-of-way waste fluid diverters."

Out West storms do not have drains; only sinks and bathtubs have them.

Dave, where are the storm drains? They would have to be a critical feature in any new development in Renton.
